Free wedding. That was one of the first times I heard about it, although it’s pretty common here in Germany. And for Sandra and Alex I couldn’t imagine anything that would fit best! No ceremony. No time schedule. No planning in all the minimalistic details. They decided to simply celebrate with their friends and family their union. And it was so amazing to discover the meaning of free wedding with them!
Of course there’s still some planning and a lot to be done. The free wedding was held at Burg Schaubeck and the decoration was all made by Alex mum (I personally believe that she could work with it!). Somehow they managed to mix up classic elegance with a hype mood. The result was just stunning! The short dress and red lips chosen by Sandra were the perfect match for Alex red bow tie. The team of La Coupe managed to make her even more beautiful than she is… And when the weather decided to get in a mood of rain-no-rain and made us a little bit cold, Sandra just put this amazing jeans jacket with pearls on top. I wish that I was that stylish!
The day was exactly what it was supposed to be: free. Family and friends helped them in the last details of decoration, and soon were all there. Lots of laugh. Lots of drinks. The great (and gorgeous) food from the Gourmet Company and the cakes from Café Piroschka were already enough reasons to make everyone happy…. but there were still lots of drinks. And the cherry on top: the dancing moment! The kids on the dance floor were a special attraction, and of course the other people just had to join them. And did I mention lots of drinks? (:
Well, being a wedding photographer in Germany is even better than I though…
