One thing that I dreamed about having in my wedding was sunflowers. They are my favorite flowers, and I love the colors and the happiness they bring into any space. Since I decided to get married in winter I had to adjust my dreams a little bit… So when Jeanette told me she would have sunflowers in her decoration (and she ended up even doing her own bouquet with them), I got so so happy and excited! And this was just one of the many wonderful details they would plan for their autumn wedding in Backnang.
I started the day photographing one of the most exciting moments: the first look. This was so sweet that even her parents wanted to take a peek! Jeanette was breathtaking in her boho styled gown and romantic updo, and Christoph was the picture of elegant groom in his light grey suit. We then headed to Backnang (the city where the party would be held at) to make some couple wedding photos surrounded by stunning autumn colors. As this season has usually unpredictable weather, we couldn’t tell for sure if it would rain or not… but this was just an extra reason to get creative! And I just loved the result :) After having some fun together, it was finally time to go to church.
They got married in our little town (in the same church I did ♡) in an intimate ceremony with really great music. And guess what? With beautiful sunflowers on the altar! The ceremony was followed by coffee and cake, and then it was time to party! The indoor reception took place in Hofgut Hagenbach and this was such a great decision. The location is amazing, and offers enough options for celebrating outside or inside. For a hint of coziness and tenderness, they had the venue decorated with different flower arrangements, hand-made hearts hanging on the walls, and a special corner for funny instant photos. In another table you could find an old typewriter, that the guests could use to describe what was going on during the wedding, like a diary. I found this such a cool idea!
And I have to say, there was lots of thing worth to be described… and of course also to be photographed! Family and friends prepared musicals, funny games and even a playmobil movie! After infinite laughs, it was dancing time. Jeanette and Christoph nailed it with a very special dance, that ended up attracting everyone else to join them. What a fantastic wedding!
